First things first

Jack's first concert/guitar lesson.  Judging by his attentiveness, I think he retained the fundamentals of bar chords and fingerstyle.  He should be playing "the stairway" in no time.

3am Diaper Change

This morning at 3am Jack struck a pose that looked strangely familiar to Lauren and I.  Just imagine if he had a mustache and some chest hair, well it was 3am.

Starting to settle in

Jack is starting to get very comfortable in his new home.  He is definitely is finding his stride and settling into a daily schedule.  He basically wakes up, eats, burps, poops, gets changed, cries, and then sleeps for two hours.  Repeat this cycle eight times a day.  Pretty straight forward right?

These past few days have been wonderful though... Lauren and I are soaking up every moment we have with this guy.  Today I think we are going to go for a walk along the scenic nature trail that meanders about the riverbanks of the majestic  San Gabriel river as it carves its way out to the pacific ocean.  Basically just a gravel road with some shrubs bordering it and hopefully not too many homeless people sleeping there.  It should be great.  I'll post some photos of our adventure later.

Drunk as a skunk

Lauren's milk came in a few days ago and it has the funniest effect on the little guy.  I think he looks like a drunk old man after a new years party.

Finally Home!

Lauren and I love little Jack so much.  Its funny when you hear parents talk about how much they love their baby when it comes into this world.  I always thought it was a bit cliche'...  But its so true.  The second they pop out you can't imagine loving anything more than you love them.  I feel kind of corny for saying it, but whatever, who cares.  We love him so much!  Enjoy a video of our first moments at home.
